I just added your Epoch speaker cable to my system and I can't believe how good it sounded. I mean it really made a huge difference. I didn't think that a speaker cable could make THAT BIG A DIFFERENCE!

Mic Ward, Hawaii

Quiet and precise the Tsunami II gave everything I hoped for and more. I absolutely love my Acoustic Zen cables!

I must write and complement you on your Hologram Speaker Cable & your Silver Reference Balanced interconnects. What a pleasant surprise to achieve this level of performance, which before belonged to the mega price cables. In fact, your cables surpass many of them!

I must say I was taken back by the dynamics and the tonality of digital audio as well as my vinyl collection. Cables that I have used in the past included, Transparent, MIT, Cardas and Harmonic Technology, all top of their lines.

Your cables by far achieved a level of true balance from top to bottom with natural detail and air around instruments that I have not heard before in my system and on top of this from a background that is as noise free as I have ever heard.

Vocals are just outstanding, full body with natural detail and decay to such an extent that I can understand words that I had to strain to understand before. Sinatra, Elvis, Louis Armstrong or Jolson sounded as real as I have ever heard them. Female Vocals of Ella, Billie, or Diana Washington was to die for.

Big band music had all the bite that you need; yet remained beautifully controlled and non-abrasive with beautiful over tones and colors that I could close my eyes and see brass playing before me. Standup bass was deep and light and airy at the same time, this is very rare that a cable can reproduce both, I always had to choose between a cable that was deep in the bass and forward or bass that was light and nimble with the lack of impact in the bottom registers. No more do I have to compromise with your cables.

I must say to achieve this level of refinement one needs to be patient, burn-in time took over 100 hours of use, and I am sure from what I have heard they will continue to improve for another 100 hours.

I can sum it up this way; I can for once sit back and enjoy my system knowing there is no better cable out there. This alone makes your cables the best I have ever made in my 20 years in this hobby. Your prices are more than fair, others manufactures should price their products as honest as you do.

Robert, thank you for your dedication to bring out the best in ones system by designing cables as natural and open as yours. Job well done!

Phil Baatz

I am IN LOVE with these cables! They make a world of difference. My non-audiophile wife made a comment that almost made me fall out of my chair. She doesn't know audio lingo, but she said that the Acoustic Zen cables sounded "faster". My friend Don Gort (@ Electronics Diversified) is as convinced about your cables as I am.

One by one, your cables are making the competition sound broken! [A SATORI pair] made Audio Magic's Sorcerer and Kimber Select 3033 ($1,500 and $1,550/8' pair) sound grainy, and Straightwire Crescendo ($2300) sound dark . . . and this is your speaker cable [@ $600/pair] ! "Your [Silver Reference] is the best interconnect I know of. The Stereo Times review [by Jim Merod] was accurate . . . it makes the sound of music more real! . . . I absolutely love your cables!

Ed Soler

The Acoustic Zen cables arrived today and even without burn in, these are by far the BEST CABLES I HAVE EVER HEARD !!! They are GREAT! They sound closer to "no cable" [in the single path] than any other . . .

T. Sole @ AudioArt/Switzerland

I recently tried out Robert Lee's (formerly of Harmonic Tech) new cables in my system: SATORI speaker cables and the Silver Reference interconnects. My replaced cables were a reviewer's- choice winner, but with the Acoustic Zen I WAS SIMPLY BLOWN AWAY . . . " I have never seen dramatic changes in my system by simply changing cables, until I put the Acoustic Zen in my system . . . They do something that cannot be described in ordinary audio lexicon. DEAD MUSICIANS COME TO LIFE IN MY ROOM!

Michael @ FLYINGTIME

I initially switched the [Acoustic Zen] Silver Reference in place of the AudioQuest Anaconda and the improvement was just amazing! I said to myself that the [Nordost] Quattro-fils probably had a lot to do with it, so I switched the [Silver Reference] for the Quattro-fils and replaced the Anaconda. Much to my surprise, the improvement was still there without my beloved and once reference Quattro-fils. " In simple terms, THE SILVER REFERENCE SIMPLY BROUGHT MY SYSTEM TO ANOTHER LEVEL. Resolution and transparency increased three-fold, allowing details to emanate from the music naturally without being analytic or "in your face". I'm really shocked [by this] because I never thought that my system could sound better [than it did] with the Nordost Quattro-fils.

Pidro @ Cable Asylum /Dec. 03, 2000

Your astounding [SATORI] speaker cables . . . amazing, even incredible if they cost $5,000. At $600 [Robert Lee] should be given a Nobel Prize. " Also, your TSUNAMI power cord exceeds the Harmonic Tech PRO AC II by a wide margin and is more than worth the $350 price for what it does. It is musical, warm without being mushy. It is full and detailed. The [Acoustic Zen] KRAKATOA . . . exceeds the performance parameters of the Magic cord at less than half the price while, overall, being more musical and alive . . . I'm spreading the word about your amazing cable achievements.

Martin Appel

The SATORI speaker cable is the best I’ve ever heard! More music. I love it! Glorious highs and mids, much better dynamics, a moving immediacy. AND the slight mid-bass bloat that was present in my Thiel 3.6s is now gone. You Acoustic Zen guys have done an excellent job!

John Zurek Colorado Springs Nov. 00

Thanks for the fast service! . . . substituting a single pair of Silver Reference made a worthwhile improvement in my system's sound. I think Robert Lee's new cables are going to cause problems for other cable companies, particularly Harmonic Tech . . . His TSUNAMI power cord is terrific, excellent bass without the bright highs

Jim Saxon

. . . I've swapped out an [expensive] Harmonic Tech Magic power cord for the Acoustic Zen TSUNAMI. " I was shocked at how close it sounded to the Magic . . . the fact that the Tsunami at one-quarter the price was close to my reference was eye opening . . . and the Tsunami was not burnt in . . . In any case, it sounds terrific!

Marshall Nack

Based on my enthusiastic impression of Acoustic Zen interconnects and speaker cables, I figured I should give their power cords a try. I wasn't expecting all that much [improvement] because I already had Shunyata cords in my system. They were bought after extensive comparisons. I'll cut to the point. I've already sold the [Shunyata] snakes. The Acoustic Zen KRAKATOA seems more transparent in my system. Highs were more extended and pure, while bass attack and [spectral] extension improved significantly. I always thought, with all of the benefits of the Shunyata cords . . . [that] they took away, or slowed (minutely) the leading edge of a note. With the Acoustic Zen power cord, my system displays more life-like pace and rhythm. HIGHLY RECOMMENDED. Give the cords a listen, my audio brethren.

NNN I've replaced my Nordost Quattro-fils with Acoustic Zen Silver Reference and my [Nordost] SPM speaker cables with [Acoustic Zen] Satori cables. The Satori made the biggest impact of all!

Arnold Ebreo

Your [Acoustic Zen] bi-wire SATORI + SILVER REFERENCE + KRAKATOA [power cord] . . . is an excellent combination . . ." Joe Fratus of ART AUDIO and I have decided to use your cables exclusively for our joint exhibit at T.H.E. SHOW . .

Srajan Ebaen, Soliloquy

Hi Roger . . . You haven't truly heard what your [Bel Canto] amp is capable of until you try ACOUSTIC ZEN interconnects, speaker cable and power cords in your system. It will prove to be a revelation beyond words. I can't say enough about these cable. It's like someone took cotton out of your ears. You can't stop smiling [when you hear them]. I've heard many different cables that cost far more money. These [Acoustic Zen] cables are in another universe. Please check them out. You and Robert Lee at Acoustic Zen have unwittingly joined together to create something truly extraordinary.

Martin Appel, Dec. 04, 00

[Acoustic Zen's] SATORI speaker cable has immediately amazed me with its coherence/musicality. Music just sounds right and is so easy to relax into . . . imaging is spot-on with plenty of space around instruments and not a too forward presentation . . . The cable has superb retrieval of ambient detail [and] revealed the dimensions of the recording space [of Andrew Hill's "Duck"] . . . [After] a few days, I became even more enamored of the Satori cables (further burn-in greatly improved dynamics). No music, no matter how "difficult", fazes this cable. Furthermore, I've now heard the FIM speaker cable and have to say that I much prefer the Acoustic Zen! The FIM is touted as being supremely neutral with amazing bass definition, dynamics and imaging, but to my eats it sounds warm, congested, the sound staging not nearly as airy as the Satori's, and no more dynamic than the Acoustic Zen. Most importantly, the FIM lacks the utterly convincing musicality of the cheaper (Satori) cable . . . " I'm wary of rave reviews, especially rave reviews of very affordable products, but THE SATORI CABLE IS A GENUINE BARGAIN . . . my speaker cable search is finally over and I can now, much more than ever, simply enjoy my music - and afford lots more!

Richard Wood Nov. 00

A phrase, the unbearable lightness of being, comes to mind when I try to describe your [Acoustic Zen] interconnects. Music is presented with such nimble palpability. Your senses tell you that you are hearing an accurate reproduction of an event: sound staging, holographic dimensionality, and tonal accuracy are all so believable. The "space" between instruments is addressed so correctly [with the Silver Reference cables] that, consequently, you hear much more of the recorded venue. The music has never sounded so relaxed, sweet, downright organic. “ Congratulations! You have made A CABLE OF THE HIGHEST ORDER, an absolute sonic knockout and easily the best I have ever heard . . .

Steve Farley, Nov. 00

The Acoustic Zen cables arrives yesterday and what an interesting day it was! " My intention was to give the wires a chance to break in . . . But immediately I heard this GLORIOUS, OPEN SOUND! The sound was like nothing I had ever herd coming from my system. The speakers had disappeared and the music filled me with the kind of emotion and feeling I have only experienced at a LIVE CONCERT . . . " Your cables are unique in their ability to reproduce music: I believe you have achieved your goal to approach live music [and] you really have no idea how happy I have to have found your cables. For me, it is the end of the search that has lasted several years.

Ed Brooker, Cranston, R.I. /Oct. 19, 00

I can tell you that my search is finally over. I've put probably hundreds of different interconnects and I found all of them lacking. It wasn't until I found your Matrix Reference II my system came to life imaging, depth, 3-D soundstage dynamic highs and deep low's and a warm and robust midrange. Your cables are simply the best money I've ever spent on my system.

Brian McGrath, Boston

I've used so many other S-Video cables thought they were all the same until I used your Reference S-Video, it was amazing how big a difference they make. Keep up the good work.

Tony Finglass, Texas

I can't believe how big a difference the Silver Photon made. Resolution and transparency increased three-fold. You Acoustic Zen guys have done a great job

D. Kiack, California

I wanted to give you some early feedback on the Adagio’s. The cabinets look absolutely amazing. I cannot believe the depth and color. I think the drivers are still breaking in but so far the ribbon tweeter is excellent. It provides extension and clarity without any listener fatigue. The woofers have surprising extension also. It’s surprised me a couple times already when some deep bass comes along the woofers handle it easily. I expect that to improve as the driver suspension loosens up.

Darin K.

I have never heard a cable as good as this in my life, and I have heard quite a few high end cables. There is no shortage of bass here! That's for sure. I feel like I've been missing out for the past 2 years using the Kimbers. I can't believe the difference compared to the Kimber 1130 which are more expensive, but sound muddy in comparison. I feel like someone is taking the piss with the Kimbers; now I wouldnt pay $400 for them, and I paid close to $1600 for 0.5 of a meter. What a rip off!

All the best,
JAKE

Jake
